You have such high activity, by which your rank should become higher long time ago without any merits. Merit system was added only 10 days ago and your rank should raise before that with those activity you have. The situation is really strange. Try to write about your problem in the thread "Merit and new rank requirements" (you have got couple of links on this thread already, so I will not copy it. This thread created by theymos and I suppose there he will reply your question faster than in PM. Good luck!

I think you should read here in this section the post of Theymos regarding the s-merit points which is essential for ranking up.

What do i do after 131 activity and 132 post i am still a Jnr. Member. what do i do? There so many limitations for me now.

Too bad man. I somehow know how you feel.
But we can't do much about it but just to gain some merits by making some substantial posts and try to be an eye catcher with a good point since not everyone is being noticed.
Enhance and maybe I could give you some of my smerits.

If you can i will appreciate it

With new ranking system and merit system, a Junior  member should have additional 10 merit points in order to be ranked up to Member.
There is link to Theymos announcement:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/merit-new-rank-requirements-2818350

However, your case looks really strange due to the fact that merit system launched at 24 of Jan., only 2 weeks ago. That means during those two-week period, the maximum number of activities your account can get is 28 (14 or 28 depends on window time). Let do simple calculation 150 - 28 = 132 activities two weeks ago (far than enough to be a Member, actually your account have to be Full Member). So I think there is serious technical issues which make your account out of the system at the time merit point released.

There is definelty something weird about your account.  You should have ranked up to “member” at 60 activity, which you would have reached several weeks ago, prior to merit.

Can anyone explain how he got to 132 without at least being a “member?”

EDIT.  I see now.  His account was registered several months ago,  but didn’t have many posts at first, then over 100 of his posts have been made since Jan 24th, when merit took effect.

Sorry, but your account is following the correct rank-up math, you didn’t get to 60 posts in before the merit rule.  You’ll have concentrate on making really good posts/responses, and hope someone notices and sends you some merit.

Someone made forensic analysis for your account. I think this explanation is right.

its small thing for you if you have good post, you can ask some one that want to review your post and help you to get merit point. but it will more difficult if you just try to level up your rank.
actually, now, here, we need to make great post that can attract merit to yourself.

Stick to your local board and spend your sig earnings on English lessons, then come back to the main board in 6 months and try again

Hey, thank you for your criticism. I just want you to know that i am not here to earn any money but instead, i am here to build a community around a project i represent and i am trying to access all opportunities available to do something to help my project grow and nothing more.

Good.  Then stop begging for merits, or you may earn negative trust.   Undecided

No, make a post that's substantial and someone will give you the points.  I haven't seen anything that would lead me to give you any merit points.  And hey, this is exactly how the system is supposed to work, and in this case it looks like it is.

I would suggest to other members here not to hand out merit points because someone asks you to.  Other DT members will likely tag you for one thing, but the main point is that shitposters shouldn't rank up.  Period.  Begging for merit points is sorta pathetic.
Boyo you are a pajeet.
What's a pajeet?

A pajeet is some racist slur, but I have taken over the word and it now means 3rd world account and merit farming shitposter. I am hoping other members support my word so we can move forwards and just say /pajeet as a reply to any shitposting fuck

Boyo you are a pajeet. All your posts are in bounties, your English is poor and the only reason you are posting here is to earn a few satoshi..

You need to realise you will never level up and go find another way to earn some money. If you were in the west I would suggest a paper route. Though not knowing where you are from I cannot suggest a decent alternative.

Best of luck in your future business

So, will you continue to support a project even after they've stopped paying you for the bounty? As in making posts about it in non-bounty areas, helping out new members wanting to buy in and understand the coin, etc.? There is more to building a community around a project than just making a signature and posting in the coins bounty page. You have to be willing to go out into the community and other communities to educate others and be helpful for others. Like the guy you responded to said, your English is very poor right now which will likely also factor into many people not really understanding your posts in the first place. Work on your English writing skills and start making helpful, informative posts and your merit will start going up quickly.

It is impossible for you to rank up your account right now. Unless you are a genius that can think of a way for people to give you merits. You need 100 merits to reach full member. The only solution is buy accounts.

There is nothing wrong with his account.

Why can't you read the whole post before saying anything? Literally the second post in this thread starts with "There was a change in the rules" and has a link to the new system explanation.

Edit: I just saw that you actually posted - more than a week ago - in a thread where someone explained the new merit system.

And to take it one step further, the new or existing posts on that thread that are being ignored are less likely to get merit, no matter how great they are.

How would you not know why OP is still a Jr. Member? Smh.

Yeah ... I know the merit system, I just didn’t understand how someone could have 132 activity and not have been at least a “member” (60 activity) prior to last week when the merit system was established.  It seemed mathematically impossible, but the answer is he made 100+ posts the in last week.

with Jr.Member rank, there is no stopping you from contributing to the forum with your idea/opinion or asking question

I am interested in making contributions to the forum but just how can i do that if i am limited by rules and i will like to be able to also help others get their ranks up to be able to do somethings in the forum

what stopping you from making contributions?
what limitation you are talking about?  merit?
receiving merit doesn't require you to have initial merit, and you don't have to send merit to receive one

what is your intention when joining this forum? ranking up or learning/discussing bitcoin?
with Jr.Member rank, there is no stopping you from contributing to the forum with your idea/opinion or asking question
but if your intention is ranking up for better paid sig campaign Wink you need to make quality posts
with your posts you will be awarded merit by other users, you need to receive 10 merit to rank up to Member

You need only 10 merit. It is not impossible. I have already been rewarded with 18 so far. Just contribute to the community in some way and you will be rewarded. There are many services allowing you to share your quality posts  with the public and if the are qualified you get merit. Just remember not to spam. This is the whole Idea of the merit system, decrease the spam and increase the post quality.
Good luck

P.S. just saw that you're Jr. Member with so much activity, strange situation. Better try to contact the admin or write in this group https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/merit-new-rank-requirements-2818350

There was a change in the rules, now one needs 10 merit in addition to 60 activity to rank up from Jr. Member to Member. See here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/merit-new-rank-requirements-2818350

The rule has just changed some days ago.
If he has 70 activity, he will become a member in the old rule.
He reach 134 activity but he isn't a Member?

134 - 70 = 64 day. I think this rule didn't change for 64 days before.

There's a problem with his account.

Actually, the answer to your question is --- activity updates every 15 minutes or so, if your activity is under the max for the length of time you've been active on the forum (i.e., making at least 1 post in every 2 week period).

At the time of this post you have 134 activity, see?

I understand you're asking about how to jump to Full Member rank..(?)

Now forum rank does not depend only on time and posts number, you also need "Merit" points that gives you other community members. Table look like that:

RankRequired activityRequired merit
Brand new00
Newbie10
Jr Member300
Member6010
Full Member120100
Sr. Member240250
Hero Member480500
LegendaryRandom in the range 775-10301000

You should definitely read this thread:
