Winklevoss sounds like a fifteenth-century Dutch merchant.  Are they anything like their portrayal in "The Social Network"?

Oh, why he is so rich? But to make such a transaction, I believe 2 parties must have known each others very well and high trustness. I am newbie to btc too, and dreaming some days that I have some hundreds of btc.

I would be scared to send that much in a single transaction.

Why? No chance of losing BitCoins by sending.

I would be scared to send that much in a single transaction.  But I guess you couldn't break it up into very small pieces. I have never had one get lost but still worry.

Wow, that is a substantial amount.

But, it could just be a exchange transferring from on wallet to another, their cold wallet to their hot or something like that.
I'm not sure, I might go and look for this.

I'm still pretty new to bitcoin and was lurking around on Blockchain.info I mosied on over to the recent largest transactions page and found one transaction to 1 address for 14329.90 BTC equal to $ 1,566,258.07 at present rates. My thoughts are someone is putting some very large amounts of fiat currency into BTC. What could this be a large buy, or transfer of btc from an early adopter to a more secure wallet?

Sorry if this is someone on the forums transaction.
