Few people has suggested that bitcoin price will drop down below $1800 and then rebounds.
I think there is no such strong reason for bitcoin to fall far below 1800 range, may be it can come to $3000 but I don't think so as the price is almost stable now, at the other extreme if bitcoin is strong enough without any obstacles the price will hit moon.

As most of the users expectation the price is expected to reach $7000 in the short or long rather than falling low to $1800. Still we can't be sure, because at anytime anything could happen. It's all a matter of time. Things go unexpected as well grow high when people were thinking of decreasing in value. Right now the price seems stabilizing within certain price range. Hope this is an start for a pumping.

In any business or work everything will move forward only henceforth we can expect better price for bitcoin in upcoming months and years. This month bitcoin faced around 700$ dump in the chart still the value is being recovered in the chart with the adoption which are all bitcoin receiving.

I think i thought more aimed at $7000 than $1800, because many predict the bitcoin price will continue to rise, but to reach the $7000 figure seems still far enough to reach, it probably will first reach $ 4500 first.

$1,800
If the current Bull market is over, history says it will take years to rise again and the bottom will be well below $1,800.
Of course, well established patterns can be broken, but the collective behavior of "Real People" tends to be predicable.

or $7,000
A solid blast above $5,000 will signal the "trend-followers" that the party is still going and $7,000+ should come within a short time.

This could take a while, so unedited posts are entered to win the huge prize that comes from knowing you were correct.
$1,800 or $7,000: Which comes first as we go forward?

If November comes and the hard fork goes well then by all means, $7000 is going to be before $1800.

I really don't think that $1800 is going to come, bear market or not. People seem to have become very comfortable with the current level at $3000+ and as soon as the price goes below that, people will buy it all up like we saw when China banned ICOs and exchanges.

So therefore, i'm putting my money on $7000 coming before $1800.

yes, it will go down to $1800 if hackers find vulnerabilities in bitcoin or NK-US war breakout, else it will be 7000usd by q2-q3 next year.Chinese uncertainty can lead to $2800, not below that.So I am hoping for 7000usd by next year as other possibilities seem skewed.

I really don't think Bitcoin will drop all the way down to 1800. The rebound price is around 2500 in my opinion. A lot of people have set themselves a buying point at 2,500 and even at 3000. When they purchase, it's likely that the market will go back up. I think there's a while before we can get there, but 7000 might come before 1800.
I agree with you. Bitcoin prices may not dropped to 1800 $ . i think the rebound price is around $ 3000
how can you say that bitcoin will drop too 1800$ keep dreaming it will never happen and never ever drop because bitcoin will reach to 1200$ for sure next year so keep watch and see the increasing rate in bitcoin.

$1,800 or $7,000: Which comes first as we go forward?

I would predict $7k comes first if no further negative news comes out of China and the china mining ban turned out to be completely bogus. We still have a lot of room for growth this year and the bull market could well extend to the next year. This is my bet and choice.

Otherwise, $1.8k will come first.

But imo, even in a bearish market, we won't reach that low, minimum $2k and that's it.

I don't think China would have pulled such a move to say that they were going to ban exchanges and not follow through with it. Then again, they might do anything at this point. They know they have some control over the market, but not even close to complete control as more countries accept BTC. I doubt that Bitcoin will have significant drops starting from now on. We'll hover for a little bit and then go up.

I don't expect $1800 again although it is certainly possible. . We are technically closer to $1800 but that seem so much lower that the peak of $5000 we recently had that it is a little hard to imagine it dropping that much. I expected a drop to $3000 or a little lower but not lower than $2500. The problem with Bitcoin is that it is very volatile and unpredictable so anything is possible and would not surprise me too much at this point.
I agree with your comments . Bitcoin is increasing again delivered in about $ 3500 - $ 3700. I think Bitcoin prices will not fall  therefore I have to predict $7000

i think we need to wait until this end of the month because everything can be possible and beside that, we are now in steady condition and i think next month will be surprise for us. now the price is up and down in $35xx - $37xx and if everything is fine then we can see $4k again so we can reach new highest price and maybe it will reach $5k soon.

I dont think the bitcoin price is going to fall down until $1800, most people were predicted $2500 as the lowest bottom,  if it fall down below $2000 it indicate something serious is going on, and from the growing users and chart price I believe we will reach $7000 first, hopefully it can be happening in the end of December but seems like its going to take more time

For now I am quite unsure which will come first but most probably $7000 will be seen first before $1800. For now I am uncertain whether bitcoin will continue to rise or not, but if the condition now changes and many bad news for bitcoin appears, there is a probability that we will see $1800 first before $7000 but this happening is very unlikely.

I think it is easy for us to get to $7,000 in days to come than fall back to $1800. We can not afford to lose that kind of huge profit as bitcoin has make significant progress this days and the market is in bullish momentum. I do believe that many bitcoin enthusiast has make a vow not to see bitcoin price fell bellow $3000.

I am anxious to see how the market will react to the November fork and if everything goes according to plan then we might see a rally ,there is a possibility of yet another split in the network and i am not sure how people will take that since we already saw a split earlier and how much support each gets are all factors to take into account predicting the future performance of bitcoin,so these are uncertain periods as the market could go either way.
In the long term i am sure it will break records but i am not sure about it in the short term.
As a long term investor, I do not worry too much but I confess this is hard not to look at the price every week, so last 2 weeks are a bit depressing. But mid term I am confident Btc gets back to 5000 dollars before January.
Good, you have a target reasonable, it does not make I feel hurry or speculative when invest into Bitcoin. Next year the price of Bitcoin can be better than this year, because we will have many change in the cryptocurrency market on the world.

Considering current pullback it is better to wait for low prices.I always look for better opportunities in terms of price to hit my investing goal. But for long term you can accumulate from this levels, you will be in advantageous situation no matter how deeper prices will go.

If the November fork goes well -> $7000 will come first. Would not even be surprised if the price turned out to be much higher than $7k. The relief people get with a good fork is enormous and drives markets up so much(take for example august when btc price nearly doubled because of the august 1 events).

If not then $1800 would probably come first. But that won't happen this year.

Maybe we won't ever reach sub $2k levels again. We'll just stay in between $2k-$4k until next halving and neither of the two options is fulfilled.

I'll take which ever one will shut Jamie Dimon up. That nonsensical loud mouth is so transparent, I'm embarrassed for him. He's worried Bitcoin is a threat to his business. But his talk, regardless of how void of factual logic, is listened to and impacts adoption from mainstream investor folks.

Rant aside, I'll say $7,000. We're going up. This is the pause and the shakeout we've been waiting for.

>>> You should have made this a poll!

Well, me too absolutely hate Jamie Dimon. His daughter had the audacity to invest in bitcoin and actually made a profit for herself but her dad just shut her up and said that it is just a fluke, essentially.

However i believe the price climb is slowing down significantly. I do think that $5000 is going to be broken this year but $7000 would require so much more than just 1 single pump for us to get through.

There is a lot of uncertainty in the market, and therefore i think we'll only see $7k at next halving and between the halving there will be a chance to load up at less than $2k.

Most likely the first option but before it is over i think we can still expect a few price rebounds. So instead of the price just going all downhill from here it is much more likely that the dump is going to happen bit by bit, with price rebounding at each dump.

I don't think it'll drop to less than $1800 this year though. Potentially next year or the year after.

Lowest we're going to go is probably around $2500 this year.

Personally, I think that Bitcoin is still going to go up this year even though we are not probably going to make $7,000 to Bitcoin this year.

It is much more likely that we experience a pretty full on adjustment to the price before the next halving takes Bitcoin to the Moon once again. So therefore your sub $2,000 prediction is probably going to come first before $7,000 Bitcoin is seen.

Anyways I am still extremely bullish with a Bitcoin price and I believe that it is only a matter of time before mass adoption it goes and the price goes to the moon.

Only few people are telling that bitcoin can going to cheap price just like newbie out there are telling this they are not supporting bitcoin and they are just letting push and encourage other people to sell bitcoin so that they can buy bitcoin with a pretty good price.. instead of supporting and let bitcoin stay with the current price or let push it to reach until $7k because the price of bitcoin is getting more trending back again.. according to what i seen..
It is impossible to me to see the price can be hit $1,800 that price is low impressions like we experience before but right now we are getting more impressions and more people are getting interested.

Here we go again, trying to make a correlation between bitcoin's price history and some conventional traded assets in stock exchange.

No matter how many indicators we use on trying to predict bitcoin's future prices, it would never be as accurate as what we do on conventional traded assets. We can only rely on the order depth and volume to make some 'assumptions'. Support is currently sitting @ $3300, China drama pans out, Japan, SoKor, India and other trading hubs are holding strong despite the FUD, plus a rumor that Amazon would soon be entering the scene by accepting bitcoins as a payment. Everything tells me that this market is either going sideways or move up, but the market would go against this prediction of mine.

$7000 is more viable to reach. No point on reaching $1800 since everything is on the positive side beside from the market uncertainty on the upcoming November fork.

The Amazon rumor has been already proved wrong, or that was I read later today in Reddit. It was obvious, why would Amazon start accepting Bitcoin before Lightning Network? Amazon makes millions of sales daily, Bitcoin can't deal with that onchain, we need LN, then I may start believing Amazon getting in.

I think we are going to be looking at 5 figures next pretty much guaranteed, but the process may depend on if we are able to sustain a price above the current key resistance points mid $3500. Right now the price is in nobody's lands from a TA perspective.

Well I'd certainly like bitcoin to reach $7000, so it's hard for that not to color my prediction.
And I think if it's going to hit one of those numbers, it's going to be $7000 before it's
$1900.  We'd have to have one mother of a crash to be back down that low.  It certainly
could happen, but I don't think the music has quite stopped yet for bitcoin; the bull market
isn't over yet, we're just taking a breather.  Once everyone recovers from the China shock,
we'll resume the upward momentum and hit $7000 within a year.  That's what I think, and
it's not all blind hope either.

$1,800 will  comes first ...because China ban bitcoin officially in their country in the date of september 30
Ban again? they already get ban and we do not need china to support bitcoin and i think we can stay in bitoin at $3k value $1800 prediction is impossible to happen china is not a number 1 who many people are using bitcoin and holding
If you are in other country and check there are countries are holding a lot of bitcoin.. So we do not need china to support bitcoin..
The prediction will be slow movement to increase and i think there are people right now are helping bitcoin to spread the world about bitcoin like spreading the Bitcoin ATM so if you are planning to dumping right now better to sell it right now because you are weak.

It is not because i am optimist, but i think that bitcoin will reach $7000 soon, in a few months. I dont think that it will drop to $1800 again, but maybe it  can drop to $3000 again, and that is not bad, we really need bearish trends in the market, since they work as a signal to know when the bullish trend will remain.
But yes, 7000$ by the end of 2018 probably.

$7000 will come first but not this year IMO.

Rational:

Seeing the trend for the last few years, it's positive and will remain so.

To go down we would need to break past the $3000 (1w BBAND median).
It someone succesfully gets us below that then we will go to approx $1500 (1w BBAND lower line).
This is a very unlikely situation unless something radical happens.

I've left out the "Oops whale pressed the marketsell button flash crash / rebound back to normal" situation.

That said, Bitcoin is unpredictable... expect nothing.

Today price of bitcoin is 3800 dollars and for sure wthe price will hit again 4k dollars so be ready. But always on the demand on the markwt if the price of bitcoin decrease or increase. I think 7000 dollars will happen maybe before end of this year or maybe next yeat because i believe once bitcoin reach again the 5k dollars it will continue to increase again. We need untiy to reach any amount that we want.

I think as well that if bitcoin wanted to drop to 1800 dollars, it would have had many opportunities the past weeks.
Insead it barely reached beyond the 3K level.
With rumors cooling off we are already more stable again.
And if the future holds a few good news, we are definitely back on an uprising path.

I think price can hold above $3000 even if there will be another fud in near future, there is really good support around $3k so price might not get below $2k like you have predicted.

$7000 or even more is possible if we will break last ATH around $4700. This might take some time, but i think price will move forward before touching any price below $2k.

I believed that bitcoin could get the low, the lowest I can think of is $2200, that's it. So I think $7000 is the most logical choose between the two. We have touched $5000 already, its possible that we can go there again once this China news is over plus in October a news come in that Amazon, the biggest e-commerce in the world, would start accepting bitcoin as payment. So this alone if true would break another barrier for us, so $7000 for me is more realistic that $1800. Let see how this goes if I'm correct.

I doubt price will ever reach $1800, unless because of a mr120 event.
So $7000 or a tie, if price never rises to $7000 again

No point on reaching $1800 since everything is on the positive side beside from the market uncertainty on the upcoming November fork.

the best and the deeper in my opinion we should see is around $2400~$2700,
below $2000 most likely it will no happen, because if we really hit that low i am afraid there will be a huge panic sell,
$7000 it can be happen but next year or two years later not right now,
because we will be facing another storm in couple months later,so we should see another decline before the storm and after storm(probably).
below $1000 is impossible for me,so more likely we will see $7000 and higer than that.
(but everything is possible in cryptoworld,i will not surprised if we can see it because it can be manipulated by some peoples/groups right now)
