SCAM.

Your fake coin is in a fake slab.

The txt is wrong and its missing injection marks on the plastic.

The coin your piece is impersonating - note the serial numbers match but the text and hologram label are very different.

If that's real you might be better off taking it to a coin dealer:

As a rough estimate of this coins value you can assume this coin in poor condition will be valued at somewhere around $6492, while one in "perfect" condition can bring $550000.

Coin collector said it was stamped with an "S" on the original face of the coin, since the S adds significant value. Collector that has been in the numismatist business for 42 years in Tampa bay, Florida. I just don't want it because I can't sell it to a coin collector, they would not take it! He wanted to offer me ONLY its silver value in weight Sad
How about some pictures? Is it slabbed?

Coin collector said it was a very nice 1893 S and offered two different amounts, $6500 and then $7000. Collector that has been in the numismatist business for 42 years in Tampa bay, Florida.

Still up for the deal ?  for the manipulated coin that was basically ruined when someone stamped the "S" onto it for profit incentives Sad

Wrong.  That's 67/70.

70 is the perfect grade, not 100.

That estimate is rough.  I'll offer an absolutely XF details 1893-S with light cleaning right now for dramatically less than $6,492.

its kinda sad, with all the fakes out there.

I won't buy any slabbed coins unless they are from a Major vendor, with a brick and mortar business.
