well, if you live outside USA its so expensive, so i better buy another corsair, will be cheaper for me Wink
The bright side of that decision is if you purchase another S1, the 2 Corsair 750s have enough juice to run the three S1s Smiley

well it doesnt unless you run 2 s1s off one supply then it gets a lil jetty lol
1 per supply is fantastic and not too much noise at all
1670+ watts 35 bux is a fantastic deal
review the op of that thread it is a tutorial cheers

and currently i run 2 s1's off one corsair 750m overclocked to 375mhz
ul notice in one of my pics on that link

wow, yeah, saw the tutorial. But you have to buy apart of PSU, copper bars, dont know if they are expensive or not and the link where that guy bought em. do u know it? and how do you know when you have to connect wires, which ones are possitive and negative?

copper lugs are 1.99 at home depot

Quote
Connect the top 3 with negatives, and bottom 3 with the positives.
Be careful, don't fry your S1.

anyways, yeah, u save from buying a 83eur PSU Corsair CX750W for example, because for 35$ you say u can buy 2 server psus, right? not bad Smiley but i think that can explode or fry my S1 if i dont do it right xDDD

and... bad news:

Shipping:
$40.61 International Priority Shipping to Spain

im from spain.... so its very expensive Sad dont know if maybe i can find that PSU in ebay europe, i will check it

edit: look, here they cost more:

I push all of my PSU's hard. I was once running a CM850 at 900 Watts, for about 3 months. Still works like a charm.

I'm running 3 OC to 200GH/s off of a AX1200i, It's weird how they only pull 1180 total. More than enough room on that one.

393 each... pretty close to 400.  Man, you guys running your PSUs full out at damn-near 100% capacity are braver than I am Smiley.  Although, I'd trust that AX1200i to handle it better than I would the CX750.  That 1200i is really nice.

You're not going to get 2 S1s running on a CX750.  Doesn't matter if they're overclocked or stock.  You'll need to either get a better PSU if you want to run both S1s off the same power, or a similar PSU and use one on each.

In other words, no matter which you choose, you're going to need another PSU Smiley

Yeah u are right:

http://cryptomining-blog.com/1027-how-much-power-does-the-bitmain-antminer-s1-asic-use/

looks like it consumes around 407W without OC, so yeah... i must buy another Corsair. Ok thx!

Thats 407 at the wall not the device. The antminer uses 360 watts OCd so 720W for 2 OCd. At the wall your PSU could be anywhere from 800 to 900 but it is still under the rated value of 750. The 720W the antminer uses doesn't change just the efficiency of the PSU. Test it for yourself and you will see it works fine.

S1 is rated to consume 360W stock, not over-clocked.  It's a 2W/GH/s power rating... so over-clocked it's 800W for 2.

If you are buying your Ant S1 from Bitmain, they have implemented a minimum order requirement of 2 ants per order now. (MOQ)= Minimum order requirement.

I have 3 AntMiners running on 2 CX750 (so 1 and a half Ant per psu) clocked at factory settings (for now)

yeah im saving for buying 2 more from bitmain Smiley

I've been running two Antminers on a CX750M overclocked to 200GH for a week with no problems
Wow I could not get 2 to run at 180 GHS on my CX 750 as they would only run at @ 160 each

I have two S1s running on a single CX750 for several months. No issues.

I'm shocked, to be honest.  At stock, those S1s need a solid 720W minimum.  You're basically running that CX750 at 100% load continuously.  It's not something I would do, or recommend.

Mmm i think its 0.147565 kWH(EUR)

but S1 without OC consumes around 350W, so you can run 2 without any problem with 1 corsair CX750W.

Thing is, i want to know whats better, because if i dont OC, im losing 20 GH/s on each S1, thats 40 GH/s total without OC.

Hi, what do you recommend me?

I want to buy another S1.

Right now, i have 1 S1 Overclocked to 200 GH/s, with Corsair CX750M.

If i buy another one, i cant use it in the same PSU, unless i dont OC them.

So whats better??

2 S1 @180 GH/s with 1 Corsair CX750M?
Or 2 S1 @200 GH/s with 1 Corsair CX750M each one?

Thanks
what are you paying for KW electric? You may be better to under volt. But I could not get two S1 running at 180 GH to run on a Corsair CX 750 they had a hard time getting over 150-160 GHS but both ran fine on one RM 850 Corsair.
