You must have a shit ton of money to afford 20 GPU's in this day of age with all of them rising by like 200% price.

Supports DDR4 2400/2133
1 PCIe 3.0 x16, 12 PCIe 2.0 x1
Graphics Output: DVI-D
7.1 CH HD Audio
4 SATA3, 1 M.2 (SATA3)
4 USB 3.0 (2 Front, 2 Rear)

I have only one thing to ask, are you very rich !!!

They are very costly but most of the people get hands on it, still don’t know how they afford it. But it is good idea that you are buying 1070 which is most recent upgrade in the wold of GPU and you can be able to mine with pretty high hash rates if you set up 20 mining rigs. This will need lots of energy and you will need two to three high end motherboard which can support 6 card slots each. 2 of the remaining GPU you can try to plug into extra slots if any. But watch out the heat for motherboard. Rest you can make up with watching the youtube.

The only one that comes to mind is ASUS B250 Mining Expert. It supports up to 19 Gpu-s but I don't believe it supports 19 1070 cards , try to divide in between cards, 10 1070 and 9 Rx Vega maybe. The good of this motherboard is that it has option to install 3 different power supplies to it. The cost is really cheap compared to other motherboards so I don't see a better option than this for the number of cards you want to use.

Not to mention the issue of cooling. The more your GPUs get hot, the more power they ll use to cool themselves. So, just putting 20 GPUs in a single room wont help. You need to have a system or artificial or natural cooling.

20 GPUs on 1 single RIG? That is going to be a challenge. Also, make sure to check 1070ti, it just went out and according to what ti models showed in the last GPU iterations, it should be better then 1070.
Also, make sure you have sufficient power for this.

There are special mainboards which were designed for GPU Mining because they have more connections for GPU rigs. The mainboards of Asrock might suit what you need for your setting.

Here are some mainboards you might are looking for:
  • ASRock H81 Pro BTC
  • ASRock H81 Pro-G
  • ASRock H97 Anniversary

Hello,
A friend and I decided to start mining as i currently live in an apartment with electricity at a flat rate. So I am going to be building a rig and was wondering what motherboard and CPU will be able to support roughly 20 gpus. I've decided on the gpus being all GTX 1070s. If you could make some suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
