These are ASIC Shares like this offer http://ltcgear.com/product/asic-share-1k6x/ . Their maintenance is payed for eleven months more you can continue to use them after this period for a small fee . You can mine LTC or FTC with them or to convert them for x11 or scryptn mining. On 20 September you will receive free multiplication of your speed I suppose about 30% more hashing power.

I agree ltcgear website is very confusing 
Hosting and power costs are included for one year. After each year, a power/hosting/maintenance has to be payed to maintain ownership for another year. The fee is around 5% – 20% of initial share price and it can be calculated only at the end of the year.
