These are not 2011, but from 2012. Are they actually worth something?

I would be happy to get rid of them Smiley

I'll offer 0.01 on a peeled Cas, PM me if you're interested.

Thank you for the offer. Unfortunately that's too low. I received quite a few PM's regarding the coins. Several people are ready to pay 0.02-0.025 btc/coin. I guess I'll try to divide these coins equally between everyone.

No problem. Yeah 0.01 was probably a better offer in January/Feb when several peeled 2013's were sold for that price.   These are 2012's and with the price change 0.02 sounds fair.  I would buy one at that price if you don't already have buyers lined up.

Shit, maybe I'll peel my V2 2011 brassy  Huh

yeh Im with LC I would not peel a 2011 just keep in mind the numismatic value is higher because these were the first.  I know that was a tough decision too when BTC hit 19k for a lot of folks and it really just depends on your need at the time. The good news is collectors like LC are out there to " Save the coins"  Smiley

Anyone know the value for one of these coins? Thanks!

yes, the last few months they ( 2011's) have become one of the better selling peeled coins. They have ranged from $200's to $700 depending on the condition of brass, holo left and current price trend in BTC. No holo and cleaned $170 + or - $20. The higher value was for a NM coin that still had all its address visible and a good part of the seal was not broke which is a rarity as most just pull the holo off.

2012's $150 to $200's same conditions
2013's brass $125 to $200  .5 slightly higher

Im sure you already did this but if you have the private key slip make sure you redeem all the fork coins before you sell it.  You will have plenty of people interested in buying it here.

Depending on how well kept the coin and hologram are, you might be able to get a couple hundred USDs.  I’ve not seen any at auction here in a while.
