Just looking for peace
1.15 btc I feel is not enough. It is worth around 1.24 btc with the alt coins attached. But I'm willing to sell it for 1.2 btc especially if they intend to keep it as a collectible.

i will take it for 1.2 BTC shipped within US( given you're in usa)
PM for details

timid,

If you wish to capture the btc and bch do the following.

1)  Peel the hologram to access the private key

2)  download electrum wallet from electrum.org to a computer you know to be virus free.  Follow the instructions on electrum.org to "sweep a private key".  The 1.0 btc will then be in your electrum wallet.  You can send this to an exchange account to sell to your local currency if you wish.  The exchange step will require (most likely) id verification and definitely a bank account.  You can also sell for cash on localbitcoins.com just choose a very reputable seller.

3) To access the BCH download the electron cash wallet to a computer you know to be virus free.  https://electroncash.org/  Repeat process of sweep private key and you will now have the BCH in your local Electron Cash Wallet.  These can also be sold on certain exchanges for either btc and perhaps local currency depending on where you live.

There should be no reason to talk to anyone on skype or telegram or any other sketchy medium to execute this process.  All of the information to sweep the keys are above and on those two reputable wallet websites.

For the Bitcoin Gold, I have never bothered to look into it so I cannot help you with that shitcoin.

Best of luck and do your own research/due diligence for safety reasons.

With btg, import it in coinmi wallet and then you can easily import it via private key, then send it to shapeshift to sell the btg.

Thanks everyone!!!.

I haven't peeled it yet. It would be a shame to do so because it deserves to be preserved. On the other hand I would like to get the face value at least.

I'll consider holding it for a week. If anyone wants to bid a reasonable price in the meantime. I'm all ears.

Thanks again

Do not share that code with anyone! Import your private key to electrum... its really easy and you should not need help.  I can't believe you peeled it - would have been more valuable in an auction  Huh

Hey people!

Sorry I can't send private messages for now.

Where are you based @Writing ??

I honestly think 1.13btc is too little. Would you reconsider?

I feel with the sticker attached it is worth at least 1.2 btc regardless what I think about the other alt coins attached.

Hello again timid,

Yeah, the restrictions on newbie PMs are a bit of a drag.

To be clear, WritingG123 offered you the 1.15 btc.

It is me, Lesbian Cow, who offered you 1.13.  While you might find my offer a bit lower than you would like:  1) it is what i have paid for several similar Cas Brass coins recently in similar condition.  At this time it is the max I will bid.  2) if you view my trust feedback you can see that I have a long track record of paying for deals I make with no drama.

I do have a 24 hour limit for my bid to expire as due to personal travel I would need the coin shipped out soon in order for me to be available to receive it and release escrow.  Let me know your thoughts, if it works for you great, if not no worries and best of luck with your sales.

Edit to add:  I am based East Coast US

The lesbian is 100% legit. They won't muck you about or make false promises.  I won't be bidding any more than him for this and I would advise you to avoid the other bloke offering to assist you

That's good and all, but I do not see the point of selling a coin for less than it's peel value.
With btc going super high, not many people are willing to spend 20,000 on a cas anymore, and some people are true collectors and will never peel the coin.

Timid may I have your email/telegram/skype?

I'll help you peel it and redeem the 1.2BTC face value for free if you want..

Is your bid of 1.15 not valid?  This is not the first time you have not honored a bid of yours in your short time on the forum.

timid, be cautious communicating off forum with an untrusted user and under no circumstances give him access to your private keys under the hologram
I'll pay the 1.15BTC if he wants.
I also would never see the private key if I helped him peel the coin..

Your behaviour on this forum makes you appear untrustworthy.

timid, if you want a quick painless transaction I will purchase this coin for 1.13 btc.  I send btc to minerjones as escrow, you ship coin safely to me, I tell minerjones when I receive the coin and to release the btc to you.   I will cover escrow costs, you cover shipping to me.  Cool as the other side of the pillow.  I do not intend to peel the coin if that matters.

PM on forum if interested.  Offer valid for 24 hours if you want to think on it.

Cheers!
Yes, because I do not want you and other experienced forum members to exploit a newbie and make over $1,000 profit for simply peeling a coin, I am untrustworthy.
How is this 'exploiting'. Some like op who owns a 20,000 should make all the research necessary when selling it, and im pretty sure op knows about bitcoin cash, and Bitcoin gold, which both add extra value.

Guys stop fighting, from the group buy thread to this one, it's messing up some peoples threads, which they would like to keep clean.

@op, if you do peel it, you could get probably ~1.175 off of it, but then the coin becomes worthless and I'll hate to see a beautiful cas go to waste like that, or you can take lc's offer which means the coin remains in it's current state.

Well summarized and I agree.  Offer stands OP for 24 hours from my previous post.

Cheers!

I have never peeled a Cas and I never will.  I have sold and traded a few with other collectors.

I have recently purchased (within the last 4 weeks) 3+ cas brass coins at around 1.1 btc each equivalent and all are at ANACS being graded right now.  Next they will move into one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0042U9ASC/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to live a quiet life with my others until I choose to sell it to another collector or donate it to a museum.

Hello People!

I have with me today a lovely looking 2012 Series 2 Casascius Coin that is fully loaded with untampered holographic seal at the back.

The coins have always been stored in a protective case and is rarely taken out of darkness except for pictures.

There is Bitcoin cash, Bitcore, Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Diamond stored into the address also if anyone was interested too.

I am based in London although shipping is available. Of course there would be a need for an escrow

I am looking for at 1.1btc- 1.25 btc. However I am very reasonable and willing to negotiate.

Pictures Available Here: https://imgur.com/a/1NDFS

You can contact me anytime to ask questions. If it makes it easier we talk via email later
