makes me wonder just how effective the NSA program truly is.
It's OT anywhere on the forum to bring up a whole thread discussing it, but I wonder what the rate of machine hacking/pwnage is out of the NSA, for more close quarters monitoring and surveillance (file system contents, watching people working on programming development etc). Will Ed Snowden's cache spill the beans on that aspect? In the year 2013, the idea that hacking (particularly of Windows and Apple machines) would not be instigated on an industrial, automated kind of scale seems somewhat naive. (offline machines are the answer of course, or rather, dedicated online machines and careful device sharing habits)
