Haven't listened, but I really like the title. Its a fairly good analogy: Both have rules you have to follow, otherwise people won't take you seriously, but also if you come to come up with something that "works" and doesn't contradict one of the other ideas, then other people might accept it (like a BIP). Also, its all just knowledge, so you can't exactly 'regulate' either.
