Not "deflating" -- try "declining" or "depreciating". "Deflation" means the value is of the currency is going up, which is exactly the opposite of the intended meaning.

IMO, this is exactly why BitCoin hasn't hit primetime yet - volatility. Sure, greater use/adoption might ameliorate this and make it more stable, but it's always going to play second fiddle to the USD or any other mainstream currency for as long as this type of volatility exists.

This is why I "hate" BitCoin, not because I don't see its value once it's massively adopted. Its current rollercoaster trending is making me dizzy.

If youve looked at anything more than a snapshot of a few months, weeks or days in Bitcoin market rate...you would see that overall, in the longterm...it averages out quite nicely and its gone one direction .. up.

Don't be so quick to think the party is over just yet.

The exchanges being the wet paper bags they are simply fragmented when the pressure was on. This looks more like an interruption than an outright cancellation of the rise we're going through.

Wait and see...

This is a good sign for BTC.  Slow deflation, and the leveling off price, instead of a massive crash is showing that there is stability!
