Where does it say Amazon or Target? It isn't even up to date about Overstock taking BTC.

It says it "using gyft" which is a pretty stupid statement by the author.

I agree the author is using a sensational headline but using gyft is a step in the right direction for merchants.  At least it cuts fiat out of the loop.

didn't read the article but pretty horrible job by the journalist if he/she is actually claiming amazon or target accept bitcoin.  They accept their own giftcards which you can purchase with bitcoin through other companies,  but that's not even close to accepting bitcoin itself.
