I think they require someother piece of information, like a cellphone or a hand scan as we've seen with some.  The whole reason is to limit the number of transactions a customer can do in a day.

Your cellnumber or palm scan can only do x transactions a day.

You are speaking to a guy who personally used one.

No piece of information needed.
No cell phone needed.
No hand scan.
Only limit to transactions is $3,000 per day, but nothing is stopping you from coming back again and getting more bit coin.
No palm scan needed.
No cell phone scan needed.

Trust me, guys. Geeze. Maybe in the USA you have to, but not here in Canada. Grin

It's good to see at least a handful of manufacturers getting their own machines across the world in competition with each other Smiley

I count 5 manufacturers so far. Are there any I'm missing? (Do it yourself or suitcase types not included)

*Robocoin
*Lamassu
*BitAccess BTM
*Genesis1
*Skyhook

can anyone add to this list?

Oh then there is this one that I came across. If this is your ad, I'd like to discuss.

I'm also looking to network with any prospective ATM/Kiosk operators in the US.

Do you need to provide ID to use it? How about in the USA?

In the US, you will have to disclose identity to use a Bitcoin ATM/Kiosk. It's going to be a wake up call for a lot of people who think they will be able to use these anonymously in the US.

I bought bitcoin using one of the ATMs today. No ID needed. Completely anonymous.
I thought you had to provide a palm scan and take a picture?  Which ATM did you use?

Nope. Only cash needed.

Agreed, it's also good to see the number of companies manufacturing these increase, there's quite a few now. It's going to be a very interesting year.
