There seems to be a lot of missinformation and unclarity on the subject. Lots of people seem to think he's turned and given up his coins and grassed a lot of people up, and others still say this.

The article mentions that. People on the SR forums think he might've turned people in too. It seems like they have him by the balls, especially when he was apparently caught at his computer logged in to SR. I don't see how he could get out of that, and with the amount of jail time he's looking at it'll be very easy for the feds to get him to give people up in exchange for a lighter sentence. The case will be interesting.

This story comes off as fake. Looks more and more like SR was a square and compass biz from the start.
