Calls to the Russian prosecutor's press office in Moscow after hours went unanswered.

Why would anyone call the prosecutor's press office when they know that everyone has gone home for the day?

Time zones are a bit beyond the average aussie

Not to defend SMH (I have moved to reading the Australian version of The Guardian) but it appears that they've just lifted the article from a source like AP or Bloomberg.

What's the Aus version of The Guardian, or do you literally mean the Australian version of the Guradian? haha.

I imagine he means the Australian edition of the Guardian: they now publish online a UK, US and Aus edition.

Spot on, www.theguardian.com/au. I find it the most efficient way to get world and aussie news. Fairfax papers have gone completely backwards in the last decade.

I don't understand the relation between the Mt Gox exchange, which is based in Japan and the Russian prosecutor's office.
