This guy deserves props for taking the risk of accepting Bitcoin. I definitely like his outlook and optimism and like him even more after reading that article. He sounds like a bit of a renegade who doesn’t care what people think.

Patrick Byrne is slowly winning my heart.
I think i know exactly what you mean... at first i thought this guy just wanted some publicity with bitcoin.. but i think it's a lot more than that.. he just might genuinely wanna support it all the way

Exactly that.

Plus, he's definitely a fighter. Cancer battling, amateur boxing, hedge fund suing bad ass. He just seems to stand up for what he believes regardless of the image it might create, where most CEO's of publicly traded companies are terrified of creating an image anywhere outside of completely normal.

its hard to have a phd in philosophy and not see the potential of bitcoin

I loved my philosophy class in college.  Maybe there is a connection to philosophy and BTC adoption?  Grin

Maybe people who dabble in philosophy are more open minded?
