Was a great conference
I mistook Justus Ranvier for Davi Barker entirely too frequently. Although I'm certain that the two are the exact same persoon with a split personality.
It was nice to have the boss man give me a ride in the Ferrari..

Damnit Goat! Your godamn Lamborghini distracted me when I saw it in the window in the middle of my presentation. And it was my first time speaking, too. If the video ever comes out, and you see me suddenly stare off into the distance and trail off while mumbling something about a Lamborghini, that's all your fault!

The registration & payment web site told me to print out my ticket (or quit being a Luddite & download it to my to be acquired smartphone)

I wasn't able to get my toy finished to drive up there. So the regular daily driver will be in use.

I'm leaving "Real Soon Now" and driving to Austin. I will travel I-29 down across S. Dakota and thence to Kansas City, then down I-35 to Austin. I have room in the van.

Oh.. duh. I should of known that I suppose. Admittedly I haven't been to a concert in a while.. I do love music though. I was in a band for a long time in my younger years and used to make monthly trips trips to Austin to go see bands perform. I need to start doing more of that.. it's no fun getting old and having responsibilities.

Here is info on renting the track. We've done this a few times at various venues around the world...great fun indeed. Was at the inaugural F1 USGP two years ago and I can attest that this is one of the absolute most spectacular layouts Hermann Tilke ever created.
