I've got the same feeling about Ukraine. And I think it would be great if they'll become "The Bitcoin Capital"  Cheesy

Somewhere I read that the owners of BTC-E are ethnic Russians who reside in Kiev. So it helps, to have the largest Bitcoin exchange located in that country (they have their offices in Bulgaria, but it is mostly for tax-related purposes).

That is the secret how many world known BTC companies located in Ukraine Smiley You cant even imagine.

Hi all. I'm the one who implemented BTC acceptance in Ziferblat.
And the CEO at fruitwallet, and co-founder of Bitcoin Foundation Ukraine.
Maksym Krupyshev.
If you have any questions please go ahead.
Thanks.

I have a feeling that Ukraine might be the perfect place right now for Bitcoin. The Ukrainian Hryvnia has devalued by more than 50% during the past 30 days... and the public is finding their savings getting vanished due to inflation.

The recent revolution in Ukraine has brought up many questions about the country’s future but produced so few answers. In Kiev, the creative center Ziferblat (“Dialpad”), working in conjunction with FruitWallet digital wallet, began accepting bitcoins at its location on April 10. Given the overwhelming news coverage peppered with political upheaval, cultural discord, and severe economic troubles in Ukraine, does the adoption of Bitcoin by a single business speak volumes about the future of digital currencies in the country?
