I've only just found out that they pay out in BTC as I was selling something. This is pretty big as they have lots of stores here.

This is also an example of how not all merchant adoption is about converting BTC==>FIAT.

Cex is pretty big and well known here - they have stores in all the main cities. If they started accepting BTC in store too, that'd be awesome.

Yeah, Cex is great. I usually go there rather than one of the other big name game retailers. It's weird that they don't accept Bitcoin.

It's awesome news and completely unexpected. Im a big fan of Cex. I only hope they start offering them in stores and not just online but also accepting them as payment too which I can't see why they wouldn't.

CeX, a UK based bring and buy website and retail chain as begun offering bitcoin in exchange for goods on its website.

In my opinion, this is pretty good news! Apparently CeX has over 250 stores across the United Kingdom. This would make it really easy for people to sell off used electronics (mining GPUs Wink ) and get Bitcoin without spending cash.

What do you think about this?

Next step: CEX accepting bitcoin.

If anyone's looking for many UK ATM sites, these guys might be a willing partner.
