Damn black markets... i thn they cre8 bad reputation for whole btc community...

I disagree with that. In 100% of the cases, fiat currency is used to purchase drugs from street vendors. Do you think that the street vendors create bad reputation for the fiat currency? No. The case with Bitcoins is similar.

I'd be cautious claiming any refund. Could well be an elaborate sting.

BS. How could they track you if you apply for refunds? You are not inputing any personal details. You are just typing your password, PIN number and the wallet address. How can anyone track you using these data?

I find it ironic that those who operate with integrity yet disobey the letter of the law (SR2) are considered criminals, while those who obey the letter of the law, but lack integrity and steal from the masses are praised and worshiped. Just look at wallstreet.

that's not an issue for the admin , so it looks like the backup system poperly worked.
despite the fbi siesure.

Which FBI seizures are you talking about? The SR 2.0 coins were never seized by the FBI.

It's funny how an illegal marketplace is able to repay users but the world's (once) largest Bitcoin exchange is not.

What are your thoughts on this?

A man a man a word a word is very important , because trust is everything , it looks that the "crminals" do understand this better then some "good" guy's , yes movies as die hard is pure propaganda.
and are in fact total reverse  of good and bad guys , is as far from the real world as can be.

Criminals should understand it better - they are forced to trust people since every buyer can be a set up.

Personally I am against dark markets such as the SR 2.0. But at a time when the Bitcoin sector is filled with scamsters and thieves, the SR 2.0 gave a new ray of hope to all of us by refunding the users who have lost their coins. They decided to forego their commissions, which I believe was a very brave step. Hats off to them. Mark Karpeles should perhaps learn a few lesson from the SR 2.0 people.
