As you can see, the difficulty is getting the community rally behind a coin!

Who knows... may be in the not too distant future, every family might be having its own currency. Even now, we have more than 1,000 alt-coins and their numbers have been increasing at 20-30 per day. At this rate, we can expect some 10,000 alt-coins by the end of this year. 
If a free market produces worthless junk, isn't the crap supposed to fade away instead of multiply?

I don't understand why journalists repeat the mantra that buying bitcoins is a shady affair. He should have explained that the risks come from the reversibility of legacy payment systems. Maybe he doesn't know that 
I don't like to sound cocky but we are so ahead of the curve on this one guys aren't we? I can't help but think that when looking at articles like this.

That is a decent article, just one problem.
