"In May, digital commerce giant eBay was the victim of a cyberattack that targeted its databases. Shortly after the news came to light, an unidentified person attempted to sell what they claimed were the database’s contents for bitcoin.

At the time, eBay denied that the purported database information was authentic...."

Almost any black market item can also be sold for cash. The easy, fast, global nature of Bitcoin means we will need to accept that sometimes "bad people" do business with BTC. Stories like this will be pretty common.
Definitely agree that stories like this will be fairly common unfortunately.

Don't have a credit card.

I am not a fan of the credit cards, but nowadays it is necessary for doing shopping. It is quite difficult (and risky as well), to carry huge amounts of cash with you every time.  Grin
