If you want bitcoin and other cryptos to be widely accepted - keep it simple. Ripple is too complicated and this is just another one like that.

Well a lot of true bitcoin users, who wants a bit of anonymity, will not go for this one, because it links to your Facebook account, and that infringe on your privacy.  Sad

A ripple ripoff with a twist. {I can however see why some banks would rather accept this coin above other crypto currencies, because it authenticate the owner of the coins in a way.}

Facebook accounts are easy to fake, so I do not think this is the answer, to counter anonymity.

It will use a decentralized network of computers run by so-called “gateway” institutions – banks and other financial firms — to cheaply and efficiently manage and authenticate a public record of transactions. Those gateways provide the exchange services that allow outside customers to send money to others anywhere in the world.
