I think it's the quiet before the storm, just a question of when.

If it's to become a widely accepted exchange mechanism then we can expect several more mega coasters for sure.

In Satoshi I Trust
Bitcoin is never boring. Nearly everyday we get more merchants adding in and there's always something going on that we can talk about. I'm sure the future will only get more exciting very soon, though.

It also gives people some additional time to acquire bit coin before the price starts back upward again. Calm is good.

And the merchants are loving it too. They need a less volatile currency, to function better.

Even though it's boring for us hoarders, it's good for some.  Wink

Personally, I've been enjoying these stable prices. It makes purchasing things less of a hassle because I don't have to worry about overpaying/underpaying an item after I buy btc from and exchange and use my btc to buy a product. Same value.

A flat-lining, stable market isn’t as headline-grabbing as the soaring climb that bitcoin experienced last fall or the precipitous decline it saw in the following four months.

But, ironically, the most interesting thing about bitcoin’s market price over the past two months may be the fact that it has been rather boring. It’s starting to exude the kind of dull trading patterns that critics say are necessary if the digital currency is to prove itself as a medium of exchange.
