Let's face it, security doesn't really come unless one is locked up in a padded cell. Financially speaking, people do want as much of that as possible considering their earning potential diminishes w/ age and their kids need more and more things. I do like some of the latest out of Coinbase and Xapo w/ their cold storage options for clients and I wish this would be seen by many more eyes alongside the concept of Bitcoin to give newcomers some peace of mind.

Bitcoin and other popular virtual currencies such as XPR and Dogecoin offer fewer consumer protections than traditional banks or credit card providers, the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) said in a consumer advisory. The six-page document appears to be aimed largely at new users of virtual currencies, and it includes an explanation of virtual currencies and an advisory on how to buy them.
