Just empty talk and delay. When it was serious players will accept payment and to pay salaries in Bitcoins?

The headline makes it sound like ebay are going to implement it, but as far as I'm aware it's just a company owned by ebay, but i suppose it's still good news either way.

Talk, talk, talk. Just do it already like every other company who has adopted bitcoin, or else go away. Talking just assures that their customer base doesn't go elsewhere while they hope in vain that all this talk might actually happen.

Ad maiora!
same old story. paypal must become btc/fiat intermediary. another exchange. an escrow provider. it will be good for btc, but dont hold your breath.

that these guys even mention btc without flat out discrediting it is good news imo. there is going to be a good 10 years of adjustments happening in the world of online payments.

I don't see how they could do it when Paypal is so hostile to it.  Don't they try to work together on everything?  Hmm how could they feasibly do it without hurting Paypal?  I guess they could accept Bitcoin, but charge a fee to accept it? (like the fee they take out on Paypal)

Yada yada yada.. Same old story.. They just cannot pull the trigger.. can they.

These talks have been going on and on, and it's not coming to a point. EBay is married to PayPal so they cannot commit to BTC

Let's just go on and support Overstock and whoever has the balls to adopt BTC....10 years from now, they will still be talking.

EBay Inc. has been quietly working to integrate acceptance of the virtual currency into its Braintree payments subsidiary, part of its PayPal unit, according to people familiar with the matter.

Those people said PayPal officials have meet in recent weeks with several companies that facilitate bitcoin transactions, including Coinbase Inc. PayPal has yet to reach any agreements, the people said. The timing of when Braintree would accept bitcoin is dependent in part on such a deal.
