We believe this event will be a big jumpstart to bitcoin adoption worldwide. Like the spark Overstock.com had when it became the first major retailer to accept the cryptocurrency, “The Bit Drop” could shave off multiple years of the time it would have taken to get mass bitcoin adoption otherwise.

They have also stated they will distribute educational materials via government channels to educate the populace on bitcoin before the “Bit Drop.” They will kickoff the drop with a beach party.

I noticed Free Talk Live is an advertiser of this thing on the link. I've been listening and have supported them for years. I strongly urge everyone to check out this talk show as they've been bullish on Bitcoin for years and have north of 150 radio affiliates in the US.

How are they actually being distributed? I read SMS, but what will the text say?
Also, is this being funded entirely by donations?
And also in Dominica what's the purchasing power of say $5?
Will be interesting to see how this pans out... I hope well!
