Like this clown knows any better than a single student at MIT? I don't think he actually understands bitcoin, the innovation, or any advantages, he just sees "magic internet money". Maybe he will look back in a decade, and understand how clueless he was.

I love this statement. So true:

It’s free money. Would there be similar hand-wringing about MIT’s beliefs if I walked around campus handing out Benjamins?

I dislike reading sentences that begin with words like, "and" or "but." This guy takes that to a whole new level and tries to start every sentence in this manner. Unreadable.

And about those sentence fragments...

If buts and ifs were boats and skiffs
Then we would all be sailors.

Yes, his grammar is vile, but his memes are worse, imho.
Presumably there are people somewhere lapping it up, which to me is the scary part.           Wink

Nice find. I speculate that Crudele's nonsense is agenda-driven rather than clueless. Time will tell - it will be interesting, perhaps amusing, to follow his career.

Nasty smear, but it's John Crudele. Google the name if you're not familiar with the source and his worldview.

Life goes on. BTC goes on.

In the near future, the leaders of Massachusetts Institute of Technology will have to decide whether they want to take part in the worldwide scam known as bitcoin.

I hope the grown-ups at that esteemed Cambridge, Mass., school have more common sense than the students they are supposed to be guiding.
