I thought they sold all or most of their coins already? I doubt they're interested in manipulating the price either.

Not all of them they sold the batch from the Silk Road they are still in a court case with the operator of Silk Road for the rest
Once that case settles then they might sell them though.

In fact Ross has more lawsuits now

Ulbricht was charged with “narcotics trafficking,” “distribution of narcotics by means of the Internet,” and “conspiracy to traffic fraudulent identification documents” for the first time in a 17-page superseding indictment filed by Attorney Preet Bhararra on Thursday. The indictment also listed Ulbricht’s original four charges—participation in narcotics trafficking conspiracy, continuing criminal enterprise, computer hacking conspiracy, and money laundering conspiracy.

This is not good. First, they can potentially manipulate the price, second, maybe bitcoin was a government creation in the first place?

Uncle Sam, or to be more precise, the US Federal Government, has been busy. Between bouts of criticizing cryptocurrencies, regulating cryptocurrencies and spending a bit of time warning against the use of cryptocurrencies; one would think that Uncle Sam is against us… on closer examination, that may well not turn out to be the case. It seems that Uncle Sam has been playing quite the little game as it is now one of the largest holders of Bitcoin… Ever!
