Ugh, do these people even have any idea how bitcoin or fiat money works? If bitcoin is a ponzi then so is cash and stocks and shares etc. They just fear what they don't understand.

While there's some deleterious behaviors going on in the ecosystem, that's just the human element at work here. If these so-called journalists, economists, academics actually looked into the blockchain they'd know their facts and clearly a ponzi scheme would be preposterous.
