I hope they don't get it all wrong. I've learned that being an economics professor in no way prepares you for explaining bitcoin.

Time is on our side, yes it is!
Really refreshing to see news like this.  Good time to start educating the youth and giving them real education they can use in the future instead of loading them up with debt and sending them off to a failing economy with no jobs and a useless education.  At very least I don't see how something like this could hurt especially when you got kids doing porn to pay the debt from college.  Smiley

Let's hope these profs get some consulting from the BitFoundation in order to make sure they don't turn these courses into hatchet jobs on BTC.

Top US Colleges Begin Offering Bitcoin Courses

Two top-ranked US universities, New York University and Duke University, are offering courses on cryptocurrencies for the first time.

Harvey’s course at Duke is titled Innovation, Disruption and Cryptoventures and will focus on the potential of businesses that use the block chain.

The course will be offered to students at Duke’s computer science department and its law and business schools. Harvey is confident that the course will be a hit with students.

He said:

“I think it’s going to be a blockbuster. The problem will be turning people away.”
