A Great Time to Start Something!
Is this some campaign against blockchain.info? They have already fixed this bug, no?

They may have fixed that bug, but cached copies may be around etc.

The "campaign" is if you see a 100 Euro note on the ground you can pick it up and try to find the owner or leave it and let someone else pick it up and have them keep it. Some are doing the former before others do the latter.

blockchain.info is doing stupid things and playing fast and loose with security. One sees the problems with their web site daily as compared to the block chain and other block explorers. The software is very tricky as one would've thought gox demonstrated over the past 3+ years. Not everyone took the lesson to heart, imo.

:-)

"Gox demonstrated" how to steal 100's of Millions of Dollars worth of BTC. They did not prove the "software is very tricky", since plenty of other sites are able to provide decent amounts of security.

Leave no FUD unchallenged
One day people will learn it's a peer-to-peer currency, not a leave-in-someone-else's-care-to-lose currency.

Blockchain is or at least was considered very secure but I guess this just goes to show you things can go wrong and you should try to use a desktop wallet if you can. I don't really trust any third party any more and I suppose this is for the best.

iam not doing that but that are just the facts. i use that service for pocket change but some people use it for large amounts of money (which is bad).

buy a hardware wallet for 35,- € if you have large amounts of BTC

Well it's every user's job to clean their catche (opsec) in situations like this.
Also gox has been an bag of retards that didn't take anything seriously.
