Some people are still under the impression that Bitcoin is annonymous. Did the Silkroad bust not open their eyes, to what can be done by the feds?

Bitcoin isn't anonymous if you don't do anything to protect yourself, but it can be if you're careful. People get caught when they screw up in other ways; they don't usually get caught from using bitcoin but there's other weak links where they got sloppy.

Feds Seize Over $7 Million During Software Piracy Investigation

The feds have seized $25,000 in Bitcoin and Litecoin from one Seattle resident–in addition to more than $7 million and other assets from a number of related suspects–as part of an ongoing investigation into what could be the largest software piracy case ever pursued by the government.
