I wonder if anyone have posted this question to Gavin? {Can the extra data with CP be removed...?}... if it could.. Smart contracts would be voided.

I send Kaspersky a email to ask them to accept BTC as a payment method... I also explained to them, what services could be used to do it.

Let's hope more people could ask this question.. and we never have to use PayPal or credit cards to pay for updates.  Angry

Time to drag out the kiddie porn stuff again all ready? The playbook is getting a little old with this stuff. Tomorrow they will come out with stories about how ISIS could use bitcoin.

Of course the low information thinkers will hear bitcoin and child pornography or terrorism in the same sentence and that is what they will remember regardless of the logical gymnastics these people have to use to get them there.

Is this something they just found out? You can save practically any kind of file in the blockchain as long as the file size is small enough.

Nothing new here. Blockchain came to life in 2009 and they needed so much time to get this statement to us now in 2015?

According to the report, conducted by INTERPOL cyber threat researchers, together with Kaspersky Lab expert, the bitcoin blockchain could be used by hackers to deliver illegal data, such as child abuse images.
