Now this is freaking great news! I love hearing advances or injections into companies trying to expand bitcoin more into these remittance markets. There are millions of latinos working in America that send money back home every week or month so undoubtedly more money would reach their family's hands rather than being sucked up in fees. These poor families could use an extra 5%ish back that they aren't normally getting.

Australian Bitcoin company, Digital BTC, has raised a $3.5 million AUD funding to launch a remittance-focused product, AirPocket. They are aiming to fix poor banking systems and financial infrastructure such as Latin America and the Caribbean.
