I bet if he could show China and Russia how easy it would be to get Bitcoin past U.S sanctions they would be much more keen to at least look at the technology, the problem with these countries though is like the U.S they want a monopoly over their own currencies.

Unfortunately, you are correct. But at least things are moving in the right direction. Dialogue between industry experts and policymakers is needed in every country
