I think the most important thing, was for them to adress the job creation aspect and also how to put banking into the hands of the unbanked. It's about time for the 3rd world countries to benefit directly

from the riches that are being generated, and not through charities and pity from the 1st world countries, when they have already taken their share from first adoption of new technologies.

Bitcoin enables them, to come in on a level playing field and instant growth, if and when innovation comes from this area. They do not need 1st world intermediaries.  Wink

It is no secret that Bitcoin and other virtual currencies have been making headway across Latin America in recent months.  Most of the countries are plagued by hyperinflationary fiat currencies, as well as tight capital controls in terms of moving funds in and out of the region.  Just a few weeks ago, the first ever Bitcoin conference was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
