There are loads of articles that are basically unrelated to Bitcoin appearing in the Press section.
What do you expect? The Press section is totally unmoderated. The occasional Viagra ad gets deleted, but I think that's only because the spambots get nuked after posting such ads to moderated sections. It's hard for me to even read it, since literally every topic-starter on the first page is on my ignore list for shitposting elsewhere. I'm starting to question why I even read this section at all.

There are loads of articles that are basically unrelated to Bitcoin appearing in the Press section.

You'll notice that the posters are earning money from this and of course this forum mostly encourages people to earn money by posting crap!

I expect soon like most other parts of this forum there will be no Press posts worth bothering to read either.

Don't see how this article has anything to do with bitcoin.

The writer included bitcoin in the title, why I don't know as the move from ING had nothing to do with bitcoin and no mention of bitcoin was made in their decision to join in the crowdfunding ecosystem and they did not join a bitcoin crowdfunding platform or anything similar.

Towards the end of the article the writer mentions bitcoin but this is a bit out of context with the rest of the article and I guess it was only included to add something 'bitcoin' to the article but again, this had nothing to do with this move from ING. This makes the article misleading in that it creates the impression that ING was getting involved with bitcoin crowdfunding which is not the case. They are only getting involved in crowdfunding, period.

Oh, I have just realized that there is a mistake into the headline and the text. ING is not a Belgian bank. It resides in the Netherlands and is a Dutch bank.

Belgian Bank ING Gets Involved in Crowdfunding – Bitcoin Integraton Soon?

Just a few years ago, no one would have given the concept of crowdfunding a second thought.  After all, why would random people you have never met be interested in investing in a project or company you are involved in.
