Ebay has filed patents for two cryptocurrency systems with the United States Patent and Trademark office. Both patent applications filed by the US retail giant deal with cryptocurrency.

Interesting the first one sounds like cross-address analysis the other one is coin taint.

One invention is called distributed cryptocurrency transfer monitoring system and provides the buyer and the seller with a system of public keys for the transactions processed between them. The other - distributed cryptocurrency reputation system - use the public ledger technology to place reputation markers on the buyer and the seller. Both patents were filed on 22 October.
