If the author really cared that the info was out-of-date, he could have just fixed it instead of writing an article about it. Anybody can edit the wiki.

It all bring us to realize that we can't trust one source. Even wiki can be wrong sometimes as it is not updated frequently to reflect newest changes.
We should have dedicated bitcoin wiki team which will manage bitcoin news and updates, but who will pay them for their effort?

Relying on the Bitcoin wiki for up-to-date information on this disruptive digital currency is not always the best idea. Even though the concept of a wiki is to let anybody contribute, changes usually have to be approved by the administrator, or any of the moderators active on that Wiki page in question.
