The Czechs are well known for being one of the most technically advanced countries in the Soviet block. They have a exellent education system and very good engineers. They will become one of the Bitcoin hubs

of Europe, if they can get full government backing and that would be a challenge on it's own. Czech citizens do not trust the government and they have a stong Libertarian attitude. The key to their success will be

to bring these parties together, and to work towards a common goal. If they work against the government, they will have a hard time with Bitcoin regulations.  Sad
My understanding is that they are not part of the Soviet Bloc.

Great step for bitcoins, now the most important step is actually encouraging merchants to start accepting them and bitcoin users to actually use it physically to encourage merchants to keep using it. There are multiple cases in which the merchant sites accepted BTC and removed them weeks later because there was no volume and this is due to users holding BTC rather than using it and restocking.

"GoPay.cz is used by 2,000 merchants based in the Czech Republic. BitcoinPay is a start-up that offers bitcoin integration to 400 businesses. The new partnership between the two seeks to give more options both to buyers and sellers. "
So it starts from small and will get bigger.
