The Open Source angle is cute. I paraphrase it as "you can see exactly how we make our insider secrets, you just can't see the secrets themselves."

I don't think centralized decentralization will catch on, but you never know until you try, and the GovBankCorp players don't really have a lot of choices at this point.

The same CD issue had another similar story about a centralized blockchain from a Big Name bank consortium. They're certainly a long way from ignoring BTC-world now and, looking back, it all happened pretty quickly.

There is no detail in the report about the open-source blockchain. I wonder if there is much difference from bitcoin blockchain.
