During the 23th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity we started, as the first, the acceptation of the donations in the electronic currency Bitcoin.
The WOŚP Foundation is always looking for the latest and best technological solutions in all devices for hospitals, which are bought from the collected funds.
We, in turn, decided to make a revolution in collecting money during the 24th Grand Finale and encourage the Bitcoin community support for the objectives posed before us again during the 24th Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity:
„Buying medical equipment for pediatric wards and providing decent medical care for seniors”
In the first collection, we managed to collect 0.75845346 BTC
This year we hope to reach wider Bitcoin community, so interested are encouraged to share this information.
