Not a bad guide thanks for sharing it.  My personal strategy is mine and buy then hold.   I do most of it as mining at this point.

But I would say holding long term is a good strategy.  Don't get wrapped up in day to day up/down.  Look at it more long term.  I know I will be hopefully adding to my BTC for quite a while and keep holding.

Thanks for the guide .that is actually pretty solid advice

Solid advice but missing a ton of info. People that are thinking about investing in BTC should do a lot more reading and research.

for sure. anyway, this seems like article for somebody, who just heard, that something like bitcoin even exists and covering simple topics in human way. generally, I like it.

I think, this needs to be made sticky in Investment Based Games section.

Why?

I don't see it speaking about cloudmining or ponzies or scams Huh

This is a introductory and basic text, I don't think the investor based games are meant for newbies only

Actually this is a really good text, I see people here asking about these things all the time.  I agree that it would be a good sticky to help out the noobs with basic questions.  It is not that the article has unique information, but that the article presents the information in an accessible way.

Seems like a decent guide. But it doesn't mention anything about cloud mining or being careful about scams.
