It is better to have steady, sustainable gains rather than a huge spike followed by a crash.
I agree with you that it is 100 times better to have a slower growth where the Bitcoin price can develop a good support level instead of a single peak. However, a lot people here on this forum are only interested in quick gains. They don't really care about the rest.
