Isn't Venezuela technically socialist on a national level

National socialists if you will.

I suppose the government even places blame for the 98.3% inflation on Bitcoin usage. When you have such spectacular failure by the government in providing a stable currency, you will have something filling the void. If not Bitcoin, people will use bottle caps, eggs, or anything which can retain value.

Are they wrong tho? Proportionally to how many bitcoin transactions happen in a day, the percentage of those that are for criminal reasons is higher than any other major currency.

It's easy to see, why they doing this. If your fiat currency are failing and people use a alternative currency as a method for capital flight, you have to lambast the competition.  Roll Eyes They know everything

is going to shit in their economy and now they want to talk smack about the technology that can make a real difference. They need to wake up and smell the coffee... people will use whatever they

can to protect the value of their money.. and Bitcoin is one of those methods.  Wink
