Project Lead at OS.UNIVERSITY
I would like it if all archived university qualifications could be placed on the Blockchain for everyone to share. You should be able to validate the qualifications with a online service linked to these

entries and then be able to compile your CV from these documents. How many records have been lost in fires or floods and are lost forever... storing this information in a decentralized manner will

keep them safe. Doing this within the current limitations of the Blockchain will be a challenge, but not impossible... {side chains?}  Huh

It is not impossible, @Kprawn, there are other institutions such as MIT, University of Nicosia, University of Melbourne, that are doing exactly the same right now, on the phase of pilot project. What they do on a local/institutional level, I am trying to do on a global with the "Open Source University" project at www.os.university. I believe this is the future of education. In fact, we are a global team of academic, blockchain, and business experts that believe this is the future of education.

P.S. For some reason an administrator deleted my previous post on the subject... But it is right to-the-point, so yeah, i am responding once again...

It seems to me that blockchain technology was to be used primarily for private elections. That would make them easier faster and more honest. Could also conduct any referenda. But politicians don't want fair elections. For them, as bitcoin and blockchain technology is an evil that poses a threat to the current system.

Schools are using bitcoin technology to track students

Recording and verifying candidates' credentials can be costly and time-consuming for academia and businesses alike. Now, some education facilities are turning to bitcoin technology for help. They are using blockchain, which was developed alongside the digital cryptocurrency bitcoin, to record their students' achievements in a cheap, secure and public way. Blockchain works like a decentralized ledger, storing information on a global network that is publicly available and should be safe from tampering...
