must be sweet being btc-e. you don't have to answer to anyone as they'll never know who you are. all of these people making sweeping statements are likely to look pretty dumb when expectations are bucked. they should sit back, serve their customers and shut the hell up.

They need to declare that it is a scam so that they will be in the right when they decide not to serve ETC for their users. As someone said they want all that free coins. But wait for it to get listed at BTC-e and enjoy the hipocrisy. They cannot hold out on the fees of high volume trading with ETC.

Since Eth Fork is a fork of Eth Classic, I guess they've been double scammed.

BTC-e calls Ethereum Classic ‘scam’
One of the largest digital exchanges and trading platforms has expressed rather a harsh attitude towards the alternative Ethereum currency.

Hahaha, very smart move from BTC-e.  With that statement, they can cash in on all the free ETC they have from their customers :-)
In that way, they don't need to justify to their customers their right to ETC.

In other words, they're stealing about 1/8 of the total value of their customers' ETH wallets...

damn, i wasnt thinking about this... theres no way to recover the ETC from btc-e wallets? Shocked

Besides not having to return the ETC to their customer, maybe BTC-e had already sold off their coins a few days ago. They need to create some 'fud' to buy back the coins cheaply so they resort to this to make the price drop.

Some are saying they lost their ETC with replay attacks, so they couldn't give their customers their ETC if they wanted to.
