@bbc.reporter
EXACTLY well said !
It is historically the worst ICO of them all.
And like the other guy said ..long-con
They refuse to give up.
And yeah Stellar too i forgot about that hahhaha
I also recall possibly the largest giveaway topic posted here way back.
The Ripple guys told everyone here to go to Ripple.com and sign up..
So they can get their online wallet and i think it was 10 free coins. (maybe 2 i forgot how many)
EDIT: I WAS WRONG ..it was 1,000 XRP
Each person had to go and register with an email address etc.
And after a couple hundred pages of people signing up then posting their address here..
NO ONE ever got 1 damn coin !
Eventually after a loooong time the giveaway topic starter who claimed to be a rep for Ripple
silently closed the topic then wandered off with 0 explanation in any way shape or form.
I was seriously disgusted by the stunt they pulled.
Hey Ripple pricks.. where is the scene's money you owe them ?
Pay up assholes !

Hello Bitcoin Forum,
We are the company behind the new Ripple open payment system. We are pleased to announce the first official XRP giveaway. To thank the Bitcoin community for their support and to encourage people to experiment with Ripple and provide feedback, we are targeting this giveaway to users of the Bitcoin Forum.
Anyone whose Bitcoin Forum account was created before February 19, 2013, 18:45 UTC, is eligible to receive XRP.
You may claim your XRP simply by posting your Ripple address in this thread. Please note that your replies will be processed by a script, so make sure that your post contains only your Ripple address.
We are currently giving 1,000 XRP to anyone who claims. This amount will decrease over the course of the giveaway. We are giving to a limited number of people a day so it might be awhile after your post before you receive your XRP.
By requesting XRP, you acknowledge and agree that the transfer thereof is entirely automatic and does not constitute a contract, warranty, or agreement of any kind between you and OpenCoin Inc. Please remember Ripple is still in early beta so expect bugs.
Enjoy!
OpenCoin Inc.
